Bringing Uniaden to Life

As Uniaden’s Digital Creator, I played a key role in the fair’s marketing and branding efforts. I created graphics, engaging content for their social media platforms, filmed and conducted interviews, and developed content that resonated with students and partners alike.

Working as a Digital Creator for Uniaden, one of Sweden’s largest career fairs, I was responsible for elevating the fair’s digital presence through fresh content creation, social media management, and brand consistency.

Project

I created content for Uniaden’s social media channels, including graphic designs, animated videos, interviews, and Instagram Reels. I also helped reshape the visual identity to feel lighter, more cohesive, and in line with modern social media trends. My role included planning, filming, editing, motion design, and engaging with visitors and team members during events.

My Role

Primarily Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro — alongside other Adobe Creative Cloud applications when needed.

Tools

Together with the marketing team, we set out to reshape Uniaden’s graphic profile and focus on creating engaging, high-quality content. Our goal was to boost visibility across Umeå University’s campus and make sure every student knew who we were and what we offered.

I played a key role both behind the scenes and in front of the camera — interviewing students and creating fun videos that brought our brand to life. Alongside my colleague Johan Lindgren, I helped grow our Instagram presence by focusing on video content like Reels and Stories, staying tuned to the latest trends.

Beyond digital content, I was also entrusted with designing a large banner for Universum’s building, as well as creating posters, flyers, and digital screen displays seen throughout campus.

Project Overview

One of the main challenges was that our updated graphic profile was finalized quite late in the process, which made it tricky at first to create a consistent visual identity across all social channels. However, through teamwork, adaptability, and creative problem-solving, we managed to align everything and deliver a strong, cohesive brand presence in the end.

I'm excited to see how future Uniaden teams will continue to build on this foundation in the years to come.

Challenges & Learnings

Career Fair, Part 1: Play, Explore, Connect

Together with my colleague Johan Lindgren, I captured the playful energy of Uniaden’s career fair by visiting different booths, testing their creative games, and engaging with exhibitors. I took the lead on editing and conducting interviews, shaping the footage into a social media-friendly Instagram Reel.

Career Fair, Part 2: Escaping the Ordinary

For this Instagram Reel, Johan Lindgren and I documented a unique escape room experience hosted at one of the booths. I focused on interviewing participants and editing the material into a fun video designed to engage viewers on all of our social media channels.

“Our goal was to reshape Uniaden’s social presence by creating a clear, modern visual identity, staying in tune with current social media trends, and boosting engagement through video content, interviews, and meaningful storytelling.”

Motion Design for Brand Impact

I love using motion design to make content stand out and feel more alive. In my work with Uniaden, I created a custom logo animation in After Effects that reflects our primary colors and adds a consistent, recognizable touch to all our Instagram Reels. It was a way to strengthen the visual identity and create a more unified social media presence.

In a fun collaboration with Löfberg, I also created a short animated Reel — designed to get straight to the point. Using clean motion graphics and a quick pace, I wanted the viewer to understand the message and feel curious enough to engage.

On-Camera at Uniaden’s Lucia Breakfast

At Uniaden’s annual Lucia breakfast, I was in front of the camera talking to students, hanging out with the Uniaden team, and helping capture the cozy and cheerful vibe of the morning. My focus was on creating a relaxed atmosphere, asking fun questions, and making sure the content felt natural, engaging, and perfect for social media.
